I enjoy the in-your-face "Lesbian Hitchhiker" series from Sweetheart Video, though its workings remain a bit mysterious. Perhaps like those recently revered exploitation films of the 1960s, there is a perverse pleasure to be gained by watching folks misbehave and enjoying their misdeeds rather than becoming neurotic.
This time the miscreants are a very odd couple: Autum Moon and Sincerre Lemmore, unknown to all but die-hard fans of lesbian cinema. They would be perfect as a road- show troupe of that old (but good) off-Broadway play "A Couple of White Chicks Sitting Around Talking", except that Sincerre is Black, so the play would need to be retitled usefully as "A Couple of Lesbians Sitting Around Talking".
Besides spelling her stage name funny (she has since reverted to a square handle to take minor roles in mainstream productions), Autum preys on pretty young girls out hitchhiking in their rural area of Calfifonia. Though Nica Noelle's videos dwell predominantly on the women humping each other, there is plenty of back-story doled out in this edition. It turns out that both Autum and Sincerre escaped from the clutches (and compound) of a nearby cult leader Jones (not Jim) 18 years ago, and the girls they sort of kidnap turn out to be more recent escapees.
Three beautiful young things in question are: Skin Diamond, the superstar here essaying a more routine supporting role as a stable gal shoveling hay and pretty much a slave to the women. She is verbally and physically abused by the bald, strapping woman Sincerre, making for some enjoyable black on black crime. Skin's sub routine with repeated "Yes Ma'am"'s is a nice preparation for her tour de force contemporary slave-by-choice role in B. Skow's "Control" for the competing Girlfriends Films label.
Autum is one of the original stars of the Girlfriends stable (where auteur Nica in fact began as an actress in leading lesbian roles). She picks up Kasey Chase at the beginning of the film, and they stay over at a hotel en route to the ladies' ranch, where Kasey is rather easily seduced by the much older woman. Autum's appeal is somewhat mysterious (I'd have to consult the Girlfriends' forums to discover her secret weapon) as she is dowdy and always playing a heavy -perhaps she brings out the masochism in her audience.
At any rate, not content with Kasey's affections, she later picks up Taylor Vixen, a superstar whose transition from Penthouse Pet to lesbian superstar rests largely on her beautiful huge natural breasts. She and fellow cult escapee Kasey have a natural enmity, but all the conflicts here are solved relatively non-violently in the bedroom.
The sex is hot, as required by porn video law, and the match-ups and motivations odd enough to maintain my interest. Unlike the lion's share of Sweetheart product that resembles 2-day wonders of old, this 4-couplings feature was shot over a three month period and succeeds in sexually addressing the fans' insatiable need for older/younger action.
