Main story concerns a liver-awaiting patient getting bypassed after lengthy waiting period. Yet another medical case, last week it was cancer, now an organ that is needed. Last week, at least it seemed as if the ADA had incurred some wrath which might keep following him around, but as predicted, nothing develops along that way.
Small human interest story-lines every episode, with a main story arc the developing relationships. The problem here is that the legal cases aren't intriguing, they're just a tad above corny, really. Okay, I mean, I would want something better. There is nothing wrong with the main structure though. Sarah Shahi is the whole show, she is in almost every scene, and she is, like, mesmerizing!
So, the set-up for Season Two unfolds, with Kate and Lauren as housemates. Obviously Kate will stay on. Some major sparks are gonna fly there! By the way, Virginia Williams, who'd have guessed? Hair, a la Rapunzel, like spun silk, nice surprise.
