So painfully slow moving that I quit watching half way through

There was a lot of standing and staring with no dialog. There was lots of sitting and staring with no dialog. I quit before a bedroom scene. I felt no emotional attachment to any of the characters. A job has been lost and no one knows why. It just turns into sex which I don't care to watch. Just self-centered people cheating on their spouses. Oh, and once again, even though I have a great computer and good Internet connection, the Amazon Prime movie would play a while then pause for while. Play. Pause. Play. Pause. That's gets pretty old quickly.

This movie is very moody and melancholic, you need to relax to feel it.

Nice, melancholy driven movie, however not for everyone. It's slow, actually very slow, which does not mean bad. There are many amazing "slow" directors in this world. Jim Jarmusch is very slow, Andrei Tarkovsky was extremely slow but both are amazing masters. If you are person who can not survive another 10 minutes without checking on your smartphone or like action films / romantic comedy films / horror films - "Bittersweet Monday" is not for you. There is not much story, but you will feel like you are prying into someone's private life. This movie is very moody and melancholic, you need to relax to feel it. It's more like contemplation or meditation, rather than entertainment. Whisper, but not scream.

Actors are very appealing and look like real people, not a plastic pop starts. Minus star for an average cinematography (it's very low budget film, but really needs better approach here). Music is very pleasant and fits extremely well.

Good drama and romance.

I only write reviews if I think the movie is a 10/10. And I feel this was. It's a little slow in the beginning, but hey alot of movies are and this is how most story's build up. The characters are great and realistic. The storyline of the two characters having the affair is very romantic and cute, that you can really feel the romance. It's a good story and some things happen that you don't expect. It's a low budget film, but it doesn't really seem like it once you get into it, and alot of the acting is good quality. I don't like some of the reviews saying this movie is too slow and it's about spouses cheating on each other. First off if it's too slow for you THEN STOP watching it. This is not a fighting action or horror movie. And second off it's not just about cheating, there is much more than that. This is a good movie, good story and I would definitely watch it again!
