workaround a taboo subject

Warning: Spoilers
I try to watch TV series that has a) interesting subject or b) unusual execution, c) good acting, or d) with good story (usually more complete when based on a previously completed work) This one falls in to a) and a little bit of c). The reason for c) is Arata. He usually picks an interesting character. This time the subject matter is a little 'taboo'.. but not too bad for a TV show. It tells the love story between a niece and an uncle with not real blood relation. This premise reminds me of an old manga - Miyuki and Miyuki.

And in the first episode it tells you that it will be love story. I was undecided then to see where this will go. Then it adds some other elements of intrigue - although these are fairly melodramatic and for attention grabbing, they work in their sense of worth into this series not too badly.

Near the end, when the couple finally gets together and decide to face the world, some of the better dialogue happens. There is 2 separate scenes of conversions . One is between the 2 brothers and the other between the mother and the daughter. These are the good ones, especially the mother/daughter talk.

There is almost no comic relief in this one, only a few spot of melodrama. If you can look past those, this series is enjoyable.
