RIVETING AND RELEVANT
bxinbonita22 September 2022
This documentary film starts a MUST NEEDED DISCUSSION on a very important and SUPER RELEVANT topic amongst our nation's law enforcement. I really enjoyed the approach that was taken and how we got to hear from people who either are on the job or have been on the job. They understand the challenges cops face and add so much value to the topic of use of force. What stood out to me the most is how watching this film made me feel. It was a gut punch, of sorts, forcing me to take a serious look at where I fall in on this topic and the areas where I MUST IMPROVE. GREAT FILM. Worth the watch for sure!

An Absolute MUST SEE!

I can't say enough about how important and on point Wrist Lock is. Every law enforcement agency should be using this film to educate command staff and to use in training. With so much talk about better training in the departments, Wrist Lock holds the answers on how to get there. It's honest approach to every aspect of focusing on healthy Officers, physically and mentally, is factual and must be addressed in order to ensure that law enforcement is in fact taking care of their men and women but you don't have to depend on your department. Watch Wrist Lock and make the choice to be the healthiest officer and person you can be. Jason Harney has done an outstanding job with his film. Job well done!

Excellent look inside the law enforcement community

Great Film . Makes you wonder why the Law enforcement agencies around the country do not implement some sort of standard for fitness and training. I feel this film is a must watch for all law enforcement officers around the country.

As you see this film you understand that most officers are not prepared for the violent encounters that they are faced with.

This film shows the lack of training that most agencies have . Even if there is initial training after the academy it seems as though officers lack the discipline to stay fit and healthy Their might less officer involved shootings or some that might be prevented if they had better mental and physical training .

An eye opening documentary for sure...

Must see for Law Enforcement and Civilians

Wrist Lock is a much watch for anyone in Law Enforcement, especially those in leadership positions. Use of force is always scrutinized by civilians with no knowledge of how difficult it is to respond to resistance from another human being trying to escape and/or hurt a Law Enforcement officer, deputy, constable, or federal agent. Wrist Lock is enlightening for everyone by providing education about the necessity of Law Enforcement learning martial arts for their personal safety and the safety of a resisting person. The public questions why officers aren't better trained in use of force. Wrist Lock provides the answers.

Run, don't walk to watch this film!!

I have been in law enforcement almost 30 years and wow!! This film brings to life so many aspects of policing, way beyond just defensive tactics. The importance of mental health is something that is still not talked about among the profession. As a practitioner of martial arts for over 40 years, this film really does do a great job at walking a first responder through the importance of self care. Jason Harney highlights this topic in a way to foster the conversation without gild and shame and provides a way to channel the stress of the job. I would highly recommend this film to any first responder, fan of martial arts, or anyone looking to self-improve your own abilities. Well done. 10* review.
