Tim Pratt's Impossible Dreams, winner of the 2007 Hugo Award for Best Short Story, has been turned into a 20-minute sci-fi short by writer/director/producer Shir Comay. The Hebrew-language film imagines what it'd be like for one movie buff to see his cinematic dreams become a reality. An otherworldly video store allows patrons to rent all the amazing films that never made it to the big screen — and the chance to fall in love, as Daniel's encounters with the unusual shop demonstrate. If you've ever felt wistful over the lack of Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman’s Sandman, or David Cronenberg's Total Recall, check out the clip below. [via io9]
