The Day of The Trial arrives.
Sleepin_Dragon31 March 2023
Noye faces his day in court after a six month delay, Palmer enjoys his time in Spain with his family.

What started off as a huge heist has turned into something very different now, the death of a Policeman changes the rules somewhat.

The outcome of The Trial came as a huge surprise, the event should lead to a dramatic and spicy final duo of episodes.

What I'm waiting for, are the worlds to collide, each of these criminals are operating in a specific world, what I'm looking forward to though, are the worlds colliding.

Not as intense an episode as the first three, but definitely still a good standard, and thoroughly watchable, very much a procedural episode, what really does stand out once again, is the acting.

Dorothy Atkinson is once again terrific as Jeannie Savage, Sean Harris and Dominic Cooper were both great, I thought Jack Lowden was the standout as Noye.

7/10.

Vengeance Is Easy, Justice Is Hard

Warning: Spoilers
The police looked like they were ahead of the game but it ended with the death of a police officer.

DCI Boyce and the Metropolitan Police want revenge for the death. Boyce claims that he will secure the conviction of Kenneth Noye for the murder and get all the remaining gold.

This would include getting John Palmer for melting the gold but he has fled to Spain with his family.

It was a bold claim by Boyce although in the drama he tells his superiors that manslaughter will be an easier conviction.

The fourth episode is all about how it starts to go wrong for the police. Noye is acquitted for murder although Boyce has him re-arrested.

I could not help feel that the police themselves are being treated with kid gloves here. Possible corruption and incompetence are brushed aside. That is why Justice is hard.

At least there is drama as Noye was a newsworthy person for the rest of his life for all the wrong reasons.
