April is a shy female high schooler from a small town. While roaming the halls of the school, she watches and listens quietly to the chaos that is going on in her classmates lives. Everyone sits here, not saying anything. They want to. Say something. Why don't you say something April? What are you, scared? I dare you. I double dare you. April's Heart is a gem. Adapted from true stories, it leads you through the lives of the Jocks, the Outsiders and all the other walks of life. April's Heart is the kind of movie you can watch a bunch of times and still want to watch again. It was very well cast, and the story was very well written and was acted out equally as well. Caitlin Kinsman took on the role of April. Her performance, coupled with the other students, is truly remarkable and it makes for a truly moving film. Because this film had an actual production company working on it, it made look really professional and really well done. This film tackles extremely difficult subjects. The fact that it's about subjects that teens struggle with makes it relatable. I myself have friends that have struggled with things similar to what the characters were struggling with and it really hit me hard. It was pretty intense and it made me cry. I think it's important that everyone sees this movie. It's significant in the respect that it gives you an idea and perspective into other lives. You get to see things from their perspective, and how each person interacts with others. Everyone is judgmental of everyone, and they don't know what's going on in other people's lives until you see it from their perspective.
