Sex & Nudity

  • A prostitute mentions her day off is Monday, saying "It's the only day of the week where I give my patootie a rest", referencing anal sex.
  • A married couple in bed, moaning and thrusting with woman on top.
  • Prostitution is a very large theme in the show (one of the main characters runs a brothel)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This show takes place right after the Civil War and the slaves had recently just been freed.
  • There is a lot of abuse towards the newly freed slaves that work on the railroad
  • This show is very violent and there is a lot of prostitution in it.
