Henry Lu Yi-Lung is another actor who seemed to come from nowhere to star in martial arts movies in the 1970s. Most of these actors returned to the void after a few movies but Henry managed to stick around in the movie business through the 1990s and a bit more. I find no biographical information about him.

It starts with a Henry Lu Yi-Lung and girl on a motorcycle tour and picnic. They witness a murder and are chased by criminals on motorcycles. They stop at times so Henry can fight them.

The fights are mostly hand to hand. There is a segment with improvised weapons like a chain and wrench. Some comedy is also added to a fight. There is the expected lengthy final fight. Overall the fight choreography is competent and the execution likewise. There is nothing special and nothing memorable about anything.

My copy is a digital file that plays on a HDTV in 4:3 format with the size and resolution typical of an old VHS tape. The dialog is Chinese and the English subtitles are difficult to read because they are often cropped off the bottom. My copy is also a multigenerational copy with tracking errors and other faults typical of the old format. Despite the defects it is not as bad as others that I have.

Overall here is another run of the mill, not bad, nothing special movie to watch once and forget about.
