Storyline

Sheldon's brilliant pen pal friend, renowned quantum cosmologist Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton, is being wooed by Cal Tech. Sheldon invites her to stay with him and Leonard while in Southern California. Sheldon feels protective of her because he feels she is in the same genius class as himself. Leonard is in awe of their temporary roommate. Dr. Plimpton, however, makes it obvious to Leonard that she is interested in him more than just as a fellow scientist. Leonard has a difficult time keeping his intimate encounter with Dr. Plimptom a secret. She doesn't seem to mind as she sets her sights a little more broadly than just Leonard. Written by Huggo

Trivia

Sheldon states, "Pets are banned under The Roommate Agreement, with the exception of service animals, such as seeing eye dogs and, one day, cybernetically-enhanced helper monkeys." Both Leonard and Sheldon use cats as a substitute for female companionship which violates this rule. See more »

Leonard Hofstadter: Is she suggesting what I think she's suggesting?
Howard Wolowitz: Yep. Welcome to the Penthouse Forum!
Raj Koothrappali: OK, Show of hands, who's up for this?

A bit mellow compared to the others...
11 May 2010 | by (unknown) – See all my reviews

I've been repeatedly watching the series episodes over and over. You can say I'm a big fan of the series. But this episode was, in my opinion a bit mellow compared to the other episodes. The show started with Raj sneezing and Sheldon usual germaphobe attitude. Sheldon mentioned his lady friend is coming over and staying at their house for a few days. Turns out Leonard's a big fan of this lady friend, Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton.

As the episode progresses we come to realize that Elizabeth is a very promiscuous woman. After a night with Leonard she moved on to Raj and Howard, whose fortunate timing was invited to a threesome. And Leonard's arrival turned into an invitation to a foursome.

Well, there are some, and I meant little, funny moments. I don't know why but all the actors acting seemed a bit weird. Like there was a fight off-screen and it was not resolve or something. Oh well, I still love the show and as always "GO TEAM SHELDON"
