"The 21-Second Excitation" was a very worthy ep of "The Big Bang Theory" that showcased the added cast members for the first time together

I'm reviewing this again since someone removed my previous one. In a nutshell: After watching Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time with the boys, Penny declines to see it on the big screen with "21 extra seconds" later in the week. She's planning a slumber party with Bernadette on that night which Amy invites herself over for when Sheldon tells her about it at dinner. It's at that dinner that Sheldon tries to rush to finish to make it to a midnight showing even though it's only 5 in the evening! When they make it, the line is very long but that's not the worst of it. It turns out that Evil Wil Wheaton is also there to bother Sheldon...With this the first time the added cast members are performing together, quite hilarious happenings are going on. Like when Amy tries a "Truth or Dare" question. Over at the theatre line, Wil trades his Jar Jar Binks for Sheldon's Capt. Picard in very funny fashion. Don't feel like revealing more than that so on that note, "The 21-Second Excitation" is another very worthy ep of "The Big Bang Theory".

Who's in Charge Here?

Amy decides to join Bernadette and Penny for a girl's night. Her utter cluelessness steals the show. She has no social skills or experience dealing with others. At the same, the boys are in line, trying to see a new cut of Raiders of the Lost Ark. They arrive a bit lat and risk not seeing the film. Will Wheaton is there again, providing torture.

Excellent episode and Mayim Bialik steals the show!

If I had to guess, THIS is the episode that made Mayim Bialik's Amy become a MUST HAVE for The Big Bang Theory. She is SO incredibly funny here with her deadpan delivery of her lines. It's perfect LOL.

I love this episode. Boys trying to get into the Indiana Jones movie with extra 21 seconds was very funny. The girl's slumber party was even better. I couldn't stop laughing at how Amy was acting. Her truth or Dare was hilarious, and I loved how she said that her and Bernadette might have won. Her going to make Penny feel better with lesbianism was also awesome.

This is a fun episode of the show, that puts all of the main male characters all together and lets the comedic sparks fly.

It is an episode though that rather tails off at the end, and there's been a few like that so far in the fourth series. As I've said on numerous occasions for episodes in this series, it still feels like the show is working out what it wants to be in terms of the stories it wants to tell, and also the tone it wants to strike.

Overall though, this is another fun episode of the show, and certainly maintains its reputation of being a rather charming one to watch. It will finds it feet I'm sure.
