The prom queen
jotix10026 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Felicia Grant, a 1989 high school graduate, is killed on the night of her prom, something hard to imagine. Proms are supposed to be a happy time for all the seniors. In fact, in most cases, it's the last chance to get the whole group together for their official farewell. Felicia Grant does not die right at the event, but on her way home.

A disposable camera that is found at the high school seems to be about Felicia's last moments before she was killed, a crime that was never solved. The camera is brought to the Cold Case unit by a teacher who thinks the detectives might be lucky in determining what caused the death of a girl that appeared to have it all. The principal, Steve Burke also accompanies the teacher.

As in any investigation, there are two different views of the crime being investigated. Felicia's school mates are interviewed again some twenty one years after her demise. Suzie Hill, Felicia's best friend, now a mother with teenage children, had a fallout with the prom queen when she saw her embracing her own date, Lee Mavides, although there was nothing between them. Cole Austen, who was Felicia's date, and who was romantically involved with her, has nothing to say, even though he was dumped at the party. The principal, Mr. Burke, on the other hand, is ultimately the person who knew more than he tells the detectives.

The penultimate installment in the series was directed by regular contributor, Alex Zakrzewski, and written by Christopher Silver and Adam Glass. This was the first of a two part program. Lily's sister, Christine, shows up in her life asking for help. Lil is not exactly thrilled to see her sibling back in her life. Scotty is responsible for going to a prison where he singles out a man serving a sentence, something that his fellow inmates regard as though the man serving a sentence has "talked" to the cops and meets a violent death.
