I stumbled upon this show on HBO max and it is amazing. It's Hilarious and heartwarming ! I love seeing the kids getting embarrassed by there parents and it's nice to see the parents find friends and even true love! I hated that all the episodes were different lengths with one being 47 minutes long and one being under 30 minutes long. Also there is no reunion or updates on the couples. Don't leave us hanging!

Better than expected

Children bring their single parents for a "second chance" retreat where they get to go on dates with other parents. Kids seemingly leave, but they actually get to stay and secretly meddle...They get to choose which mom and dad get to go on a date, who to interrupt etc.
With games like truth or dare kids are bound to hear some awkward info. It gets cringy at times, but overall I like the idea. All of them seem like really genuine people ready to open up to the possibility of dating.
It's not a typical reality or dating show we're used to, so that's why I liked it...Some things could be better, but hopefully they will be in season 2.

Where's Jimmy?

Warning: Spoilers
The show was a product of Covid reality that ends certain narratives without explanation. What happened to Karen and why was the Jimmy character replaced half way. It's hard to create a love life after a show when your players live in different states, or even cuties they've been established in for dating? Like to see a follow up, but it would probably just confirm what I already believe happened. Nothing.
