In the last few years, ITV especially has had the habit of bringing American game-shows to Britain, and they do not take off as well as they would hope, which sometimes is a shame. Hosted by They Think It's All Over's Nick Hancock, this game-show sees two people facing each other with ten poker style. They got a question with four possible answers, and they would put a chip on what they believe is correct, and if unsure they can use two, three or even four, and they have to Lock Down when they are finished. Players also have the Accelarator to make their opponent put chips down within seven seconds, or go out. The correct answer would mean the player gets a chip back, all other covered answers would result in that chip being lost, adding £1000 to the cash fund starting at £100,000. If both players are correct they duel again, if one player is correct they go on to another duel, the loser goes home with nothing, and if both get the answer wrong, the duel is over. I can't remember how the final jackpot round is decided, but it was a good game-show, while it lasted, for only twelve episodes. Good!
