Like what i'm seeing
Mesina0212 January 2023
A good opener of an episode. I think when I'm done with all the episodes i'll see if this should be the definitive first episode but as of right now I think this episode perfectly introduces these characters without having it feel like we skipped crucial scenes.

There have been a lot of heist films/tv that i've seen already so it's gonna be difficult for this show to have any unique qualities. Obviously the concept of the episodes being arranged in different orders is something I rarely see in tv and I think a show like this can do a lot even though it's drawing from material we have already seen countless times.

But so far, i'm enjoying what i'm seeing.

Surprisingly good!
Vader_vgc1 January 2023
I first heard about this show a few months ago the concept intrigued me and it had Giancarlo Esposito so i knew i had to watch been waiting for it to release and it finally did and the episode was surprisingly really good didn't expect to like it this much but it was really super tense and the music was really good the writing was very well done and all the characters moments made sense super enjoyable the 40 minute runtime really aids it if it was like 20 minutes it definitely wouldn't be as good as it is super hyped for the other episodes about to watch the next episode highly recommended if you like crime shows.

Have you ever seen that Rick and Morty Episode?

Warning: Spoilers
The one about heist movies? The super sarcastic one about heist movies? That's basically what this episode was. Going to keep watching because of the non-linear plot, but if the second episode is as cheesy and predictable as this, I won't watch more.

I understand that the heist story has to contain some of these elements but just once I'd like to see someone have an original idea regarding the characters of the "crew". Wise older leader, check. Meat head that does something stupid, check. Tech guy that also drives and knows a little bit of everything, check. Strong female foreign character, check. I hope it gets better, but I don't expect much.

Hacker nonsense strikes again
jeroen-1066 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
In 2023 you'd expect writers to be more knowledgeable on the topic of IT and software engineering. Yet, once again, I am watching a show full of nonsense on this topic. Since when can you put a 'poison pill inside data' and then 'automatically track the perpetrator' who downloaded the data? Is it really realistic a keyboard spoofer (USB stick) is sewn into a handbag without people noticing? Can you really 'fake a white-list' by manipulating the data? You can't rewrite the software itself that outputs the log data (not feasibly at least) so the white list data would have to be edited after it has been output, every time.

I just hate it when writers make up stuff to advance the plot. Why don' writers hire an SME? Thumbs down.
