Grace is the show's MVP

Warning: Spoilers
And so it comes down to this: five Galloways and one killer. One Galloway, out in the wood, suffering a mental break and ingesting mushrooms is made quick work of in the opening minutes (and a fittingly violent death it is). The remaining four, still stuck in the house are now convinced that one of them is the killer.

Until Vincent goes looking for Aphra and finds her dead, then the suspicion returns to him. The bells ring and it's time for another game. Grace is determined to play along and get it over with, but the younger Galloways lock her up in the hopes of stopping whatever rules were in place (which they should really stop and rethink because Florence was still very much in the game, and winning, when she got impaled not 4 hours previously). Naturally, our Grace finds a way out and completes the puzzle game. She then finds a room of gold and...? Well, remember Viserys Targaryen? The others arrive just in time to chase the killer and knock them out.

Grace has been the show's silent propeller the whole time. Revealing flashbacks show her Galloway attitude before she became a Galloway and in this we find that she effectively let Spencer's wild side out. Annette, on her death bed, pleads with Grace to continue quelling that part of him, but Grace is actively involved in all the competitions that started after her death, and enjoyed a kinky lifestyle along with Merle. Oh, yeah, she also killed Annette. In essence, this all happened because of her. Grace also, in her puzzle game, puts 2 and 2 together and susses out that the killer is not a player in the game. Information she chooses not to share with the rest of the survivors when she stumbles on to them. For their part, they let Grace play alone in the hopes that she'll be winner and loser (they're right). There's not a single one in this family who is not a monster.

Tune in next week for the denouement!
