Ava bound for great things
jmcafx3 November 2021
(Apologies for the bad pun) Watched at this IMDB short film award winner at the Bath Film Festival, I was struck with the seemingly effortless combination of compelling visual and actor-led storytelling. Not too mention the technical polish, in both editing and sound mixing.

Okay that's enough now, I said better and clearer comments to Ava's mum.

Ava' s touch
Kirpianuscus7 November 2023
All is familiar from the other films of Ava Bounds, from the admirable photographz to the exceptional acting. The nuance / a real case becoming a warning about familz relation, about treatment to patients, the joy of freedom crown by brutal reactions of the others.

A warning and, not the last, a nice metaphor about freedom and about radical solutions for comfort of others.

In short, one of touching, impressed crafted short film about a phenomen who, mazbe, is not characteristic of late XIX century , becoming, for this motif, a precise accusation and testimonz about wasted lives for the biyarre , cruel reasons .
