Obviously an Early Yogi Effort
richard.fuller19 June 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Yogi is harassed by a small Indian waif with a bow and arrow. A played out cartoon plot of an Indian boy wanting to prove he is a brave warrior, this is obviously an early Yogi cartoon, as there is no Booboo, no Ranger Smith and clearly no park.

But it is easy to just imagine it is an off day for Yogi and he has gone away to be alone on the other side of the park.

Also harassed by the Indian child is frightened rabbit, a skunk who causes Yogi to bathe the child and a lion who is yawning when the Indian enters his mouth to shoot the arrow.

Perhaps some of the amusing bits here would be the Indian child getting the bow and arrow mixed up, turned around, dropping it.

Other than the rabbit at the end (and the lion yawning), no other character beside Yogi speaks in this cartoon.

The ending provides a very dramatic rarity for Yogi Bear cartoons, tho there is a final joke, and a good one with the rabbit.

I believe the little warrior brave did return in perhaps either a Snaggle Puss cartoon or a Hokey Wolf cartoon, can't recall which, but he did show up later on with a father who threatened to take away his TV privileges until he proved himself. I think it was a Hokey Wolf appearance.
