Not knowing what to expect I was truly taken back by the courage and hope Paul and Charles to keep on fighting to the very end. Must see.

Inspiring

What a fantastic, encouraging film. After my best friend was diagnosed with GBM, I have wanted to research and learn as much as I can about the disease. This documentary has helped me to do that. It is so informative, not just in the treatment procedures, but in offering some tips and hope in moving forward. It was interesting to hear about Paul and Charlie's journey, both incredibly inspiring. It was also good to hear their advice on how best to support those going through these journeys. It has got me thinking about turning up, not waiting, embracing, and appreciating. I hope this documentary raises awareness of Glioblastoma, and in turn, opportunity for funding more research towards a future cure.

Very Inspirational and Encouraging

Such inspirational and encouraging stories showing amazing resilence and strength in the midst of all circumstances, even a diagnosis of Glioblastoma. This film provided an inside view of the new normal after a loved one is diagnosised with this illness and shows each one of us how we are really all terminal and need to live life to the fullest each and everyday. Appreciating each day and trusting God to carry us through the good and bad days that everyone experiences in this life. My family has really benefited from watching this film and try to focus less on the small things in life and appreciate each and every moment. This film is a must see!

You haven't truly lived until you've watched Living with the Odds

This movie grabs you immediately with the lived experience of the film's subject: Paul Bayne, who strived to live a meaningful life on purpose and not as his diagnosis. Paul shared his life with glioblastoma, a rare brain cancer that is incredibly challenging to treat, live with, and cure with this very talented storyteller who perfectly captured the essence of life. Living with the Odds had three themes inextricably woven perfectly until the closing scene: love, hope, and faith. A reminder to all that life is to be lived, and love to be ever-present, this hopeful documentary also featured an extreme long-term survivor, who has endured 3 separate glioblastomas and by the grace of God is miraculously sharing his experience with others with similar diagnoses as a peer mentor to those in treatment. Leading researchers and doctors from world-renowned Boston-based Dana Farber Cancer Institute thoughtfully explain this devastating disease engagingly and sensitively. For certain the tagline sums up the most impactful message you will hear when you watch Living with the Odds, Everyone dies, not everyone lives. They also have a Facebook and Instagram page that serves as community forums. A MUST watch.
