This fifth episode of the revived "Laugh-In" can still amuse even with the now-dated references

While I watched some of this revived "Laugh-In" back in the day when I was 9 years old, by this fifth ep which aired after I turned 10, I had forgotten this was still on the air as I didn't remember any of it when I just watched this on YouTube. The jokes are all over the place and is uneven concerning what's funny or not. Still, it's fascinating watching Robin Williams before his real big break playing Mork from Ork on "Happy Days" just a few weeks after the final ep of "L-I" aired one week after this one. There's also plenty of amusing animation from fellow cast member Sergio Aragones and some entertaining bits from puppeteer Wayland Flowers when he brings both Madame and Jiffy, the latter a now-politically incorrect black female puppet who does a few funny barbs with guest star Tina Turner. She's not the only guest in the show which also includes Jimmy and Gloria Stewart, Sonny Bono, Ralph Nader, Martin Mull, and Susan Ford, the daughter of former president Gerald Ford. Compared to the original "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In", the revived version isn't so hilarious but there's plenty to be entertained by if one is willing to watch and knows the now-obscure references that abound throughout the show...
