I love this show, it's wonderful. All except Brida who has become this vile cretin of a human being. She's a full on mercenary and needs to be removed A Sap! I liked her character before in season 1 but she's progressively got worse, I legit start hurling obscenities at my tv when she's on the screen - she's just horrid! GET RID OF HER ALREADY!

Love the main characters and Uhtred is just wonderful!! More of Alexander Dreymon, he's great!!

The camaraderie of Uhtred and his loyal fellow warriors is fascinating to watch. I resonate with a lot of past life related programmes so this one makes for great viewing.

All interested parties in Wessex start to circle the wagons as the end looms for its ruler. The dane of Eoforwic see's his favor split. This season has well developed storylines and compelling character arcs. Going out with a bang.

Brida's arch is a pain to watch.

A joyful moment.

Brida's daughter's death is hilarious lmao.

Wish Brida would die too please. Have her fail jump or get cancer please. Not escape for the 99th time.

Rest of the characters and story is outstanding as usual.

I like how interesting the show becomes without Brida

Seriously if this episode did not have the brida plot I would have given this an 8.

The politics inbetween aethehelm and Edward ,aethflaeds heartbreaking scenes are so good Might have minor flaws like Edward finding it out in the laziest way but still a good episode.

Please keep brida away.

Brida is killing the show

Brida's character arc has become as cringe as season 8 of GoT. Literally every other character and plot line is more compelling with half the screen time.

Here is brida trying to kill U' daughter, and she castrated his son but that's all okay, just let her go. What? This makes no sense.

I'm a huge fan but I've been spoiled by great writing, great acting, really superb characters. That is not this.

This is starting to get annoying, how is it possible after everything Brida has done, Utred lets her escape for the 10th time, LAZY WRITING!

Not to mention this season is being so forced.

Writers let Brida hijack the show. A villain must be interesting; Brida is not. A lunatic has dramatic value for an episode or two before being tedious.

I thought this would be the episode she is zotzed. So disappointing as her story arc is beaten to death (pun intended).

Knowing UK history, I'm glad writers are pulling the story back to actual events. Soap opera-ish drama (e.g., Edward's affairs) leading to actual events makes good TV. Edward the Elder was no fool.

I resist using IMDb to look ahead and "spoil" future episodes. I am encouraged that this Season will end the story.
