Giri Kanye, the Masala-Entertainer
Vashista-Bhat6 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Giri Kanye is one of the Masala entertainer movies of Dr. Rajkumar. Script is based on the novel, Girikannika written by Bharathisutha, and it is nice. Dr. Rajkumar delivers an outstanding performance. Vajramuni is excellent as an antagonist. All other actors have done well.

Screenplay of Giri Kanye is very fast, and excellent direction from the duo Dorai-Bhagavan. Storytelling, narration, and songs of this film is very good. Very Good Background Music from Rajan-Nagendra.

The way in which characters are developed in Giri Kanye is also very good. Even the editing is very good, and Cinematography from R. Chittibabu is good.

Six Fights along with 5 songs are spaced appropriately which makes Giri Kanye a perfect masala-entertainer.

The first song, Yenendu Naa Helali, talks about human desire being unlimited, and people forgetting humanity, and it is one of the greatest song, and one of my-all-time favourites. The scene where Dr. Rajkumar reforms Thoogudeepa Srinivas, and makes him a good person, and another scene where Dr. Rajkumar forgives Vajramuni, and makes him a good person.

Giri Kanye teaches us the importance of humanity as the first song is about that, and the scenes where Dr. Rajkumar helps other workers, and even forgives the people who wished him bad. Giri Kanye is surely a must-watch movie.

My Rating: 10/10 Verdict: Masterpiece.
