Panahon na (Its is the time) is a movie that conveys different phases of social issues where it gives emphasis to the main root of all the evil acts of a man or woman in his or her life, money. This movie give us insight of what is really the main cause of crimes and prostitution in our society. It shows that due to the poverty they have encountered, men are willing to kill people just to earn money for their family, women have the eagerness to sell their body as well as their dignity for the sake of their own life's necessities. More than these, it also let us see that even wealthy figures are also involved with different aspects of criminality wherein they use to hit the weak spot of every poor people to make their illegal business profitable, their weak spot is their need for money.
What i like the most about this movie is the moral it have let me realized. Also, the cinematography, specifically, the way the captured every scene, the camera angles, you will see and feel the emotions they want to let their viewer or audience appreciate by the means of the movie's actors and actresses facial and body gesture. As well as the tone of the voice are well-modulated and clarity of the characters' diction where you do not have to rewind the scene for you to understand what they have said. I like these things from this movie.
There are technical aspects that they should be careful of, like the transitions of scenes from one to another. The lighting on the dim parts of setting. Also some unwanted sounds that maybe because of the editing.
Good thing about their characters, they have chosen the accurate ones. The character of the gun-for-hire killer played by Joem Basco which his eyes really potrayed the it. The prostitute which her body is so pleasing for her character. All in all, the protagonists and antagonist of the story are all deserving of the role they have played.
Totality, it is a two thumbs-up for me. I have enjoyed the film and sees the different perspectives of the character. I also want to recognize the inspirational words that the film gave me, "Make things right so that you will live the best life you could ever live". A round of applause for you guys. Thankyou!
