How comedy drama should be
neil-walker-safc26 June 2020
What I love about this episode is it glides effortlessly from start to finish, blending comedy with drama beautifully. This truly is Chuck showing the world how to make great TV. The only downfall is you never quite believe anything bad will happen.

When you become attached to the characters, particularly on the first viewing, situations that affect these relationships induce high levels of anxiety. In this reviewer it did anyway.

This episode sees Sarah being replaced by a new handler due to an evaluation of her performance.

At the same time to replace the buy more side of things, it is Awesome's batchelor party.

Poor Sarah, following orders may lead to... Warning: Spoilers
Good thing Chuck hasn't yet gone kung fu, other wise Morgan, Jeff and Lester would have been...but Casey ever watchful stops them with a drop him, and it was a trial run so they could go to Devon's bachelor party, Chuck is like why...Nothing like laying in bed hearing Beckman and she's on the TV talking to you about relationships and 49b, what ?

Orders ? huh and we get a female Casey, well her name is Alex, and her and Casey together, whew, or maybe too much alike, least till the end. Oh and you cant share feelings as a spy ? Sarah, talking and taking the orders like...least she does 1 thing, although only worked as "he" allowed it to, he knows how to get/stay "lost".

Hospital mission, Casey cant get in as needs a special card, and here Chuck is treated like a spy (he is but not feeling like one yet and don't want to be one, yet he does his own...)by Alex, who really doesn't seem to know how to be a handler, is she a good spy, don't really know, esp when willing to anything without regard to "humanity", doesn't care about Chuck or his family or friends, not good.

Didn't like the way the got the card, but Devon sees Chuck but really cant remember, to make even Ellie think he "cheated" and just not the way the team works best. Berkman you told only what you need to know and get used to it ?

More of less successful, but getting Devon into trouble with bad guys the government is after bad move on well Alex there instead of Sarah. Least Sarah does something for Chuck, help find his dad, after Alex to me, lied to Beckman about Sarah and Chuck as their relationship works and is why they have succeeded, but Alex say they don't, think Alex really wanted to stay there and Sarah gone is only way.

Casey and Alex "cleaning" guns...Bug found, they coming for Devon, Chuck steps in as they did see him before (good thing Devon and Ellie are not home).

Sarah comes to say bye, and leave location of his dad, sees phone, goes to Castle, says Chuck is missing to Casey, he says to Alex he disagrees with her findings, and discover where the "beeping" stopped from the bug, bank vault.

The 2 laughing, love it, and Chuck to Alex "I'm not listening to you", not coming out till Sarah is back, getting the info that the whole mission was about, but Alex really is not doing a good or her job, Sarah reinstated.

You feel for Ellie, nothing happen, he told truth but the pics...

Chuck going to Sarah upset, no bugs and the hair drier dries her hair...and off they go to find/ see his dad...gave 9 as even though parts bugged me, liked this epi for "finding" Sarah and his dad.
