Considering everything, this is an exceptional film

Warning: Spoilers
ROCK 'EM DEAD is a morality tale about a guy who makes a deal with the Devil to make the ultimate rock 'n roll song. However, after agreeing on terms, the guy refuses to do his end of the bargain, so he's of course going to have to deal with the consequences.

This film appears to have been created by a group of young people with no prior experience in film making and they appear to be just out of high school. Considering this, it's an exceptional film, with very good music, a nice mood and decent production values. Now I am sure that some older and more experienced film makers could have done better with this material, but given what you'd expect from George Streicher (who wrote and directed this film) and the actors, it's a heck of a good job. I can't wait to see what a few more years of experience (or a pact with Satan) can do with these talented young men.

Rock 'Em Dead = Rock 'Em Good.

Rock 'Em Dead is one of those short movies that has a lot in it. It has a fun story, fun script, fun everything. I watch a movie like this, and it reminds me of the good old days of when stories like this were on "Are You Afraid of the Dark?". Oh, it was great to find this movie. The whole set up of the movie is great. Watching the making of the movie, you can tell these boys put a lot of work into making this picture. And I have to say, this movie does not disappoint. This isn't one of those movies where you have to think, it's just a fun little blood bath to please anyone whose in the mood for a good old time. And that is why I liked this movie so. Bravo to the cast and crew for doing a good job on it!

Rock em Dead was a fun film to watch! It reminded me of all those great old school curse type of movies and the Tales of the Crypt style was totally there. I loved watching this and i actually jumped a few times! The music was awesome, the gore was awesome, the cinematography was awesome. The acting was solid! Great work George!! I can really tell you cared about this film and you obviously know what you are doing. I was impressed with the effects, they looked really great with a nice touch of old school horror flicks. Overall i just really enjoyed this!! Great job to everybody that worked on it and George, you did a great job directing and scoring! I loved it!

"Rock 'Em Dead" is a B Movie

I'm a good friend of George, we went to high school together, and I was aware of this projects existence. I was very excited for it's release, I was counting down the days.

After viewing the movie, I will say that it has great production value; its visuals, score, make-up effects, etc. But, the movie had 2 problems, bad acting and an ending that left you wanting more, which you probably won't get. The story itself is very simple, a young man sells his soul to the Devil to make it in the music biz. We add a few Zombies here and there and you've got a pretty decent B Horror Movie, problem is there's too much humor (which isn't awful to have) and not enough thrills & chills. The ending left us asking, "What happens now?" I think there should be a sequel to ROCK 'EM DEAD to have some sort of closure for our heroes and villains. Great thing about the movie is its Visuals & Score, and of course Mr. Chris Lundy! Lundy is the scene stealer of this movie.

Overall, a decent comedy/horror short , but with a flaw in conclusions to the story.

BRING ON "ROCK 'EM DEAD 2" GEORGE!!!!
