View of superheroes from different perspective

Though critics are right in the fact that not much of the season plot moved forward in this episode, the show did serve to reveal more about the overall storyarc, and establish more of Clark's morals. Clark makes an investigation of who might of shot the Martian Manhunter by posing as a cop, only to learn that oftentime the police force has been jealous of the crimefighting pursuits of not just the Green Arrow, but the "red-blue" blur. Clark has the opportunity to see how outsiders occasionally view superheroes. Addiontionlly, Tess Mercer's heart is shattered when she has been used by Lex ever since her life had been spared by him in South America, probably not coincidentally around the first time BrainIAC surfaced on the Earth in a mortal body. The importance of the episode is for Clark to understands more what the world thinks of him and others who possess other meta-physical beings, and to establish the truth of what Lex is using Tess for.

I was getting a Blue Bloods feel from this episode. How in the world did Chloe get Clark to pass as an officer? Then, Clark is mysteriously buddy-buddy with his new partner at a BBQ. This show is really wild sometimes. Haha.

I am so happy Chloe is there to remind Clark that his complicated relationship with Lana hurts most involved. She is the only one that seems to think about Lois's feelings in this situation and gain some brownie points with me.

Clark and Oliver have been on tense terms for a while now and I hope they find a way through it.

Dan Turpin cameo

Lana show Tess what kind of man Lex really is and Tess cuts him off. It is about time because she is smarter than that.

I am no Clana fan, but the chemistry between them was shining brightly in here.

Overall, there is no point to this episode, but that Lana & Tess fight was amazing.

Will this show ever go forth?

Warning: Spoilers
Yet another episode of Smallville... Where nothing happens or is remembered from the previous one. Heck, the only thing that this episode refer to the previous one is that in the near ending of this episode Chloe is telling Clark that she's going to the hospital to look on Jimmy. Shouldn't Clark look up on Jimmy/Lois? Nah, he's busy being a reporter/police. Righty row.

I can't really understand why I keep watching this series. Why can't something happen between Clark & Lois? Just back and... well, can't really say it goes forth. Ever. Seemed to be something nice going on on Chloe's wedding, but that's erased now?

I have some questions, which I seems to be waiting forever to see an answer to.... When will Clark put on the cape? Sure, there is a "blue and red blur" hero now, but come on... Get the wings and get on with it! Why must everything go on so slowly? Why must Lana Lane return all the time?

Sigh. So what "happens" in this episode then? Well... Clark gets into trouble with the police once more (most likely all forgotten to the next ep) while trying to figure out what happened to his pal John Jones, sets a guy, who has lost his way, straight, and finally Tess gets some real info about Lex.
