After seeing Penny with her new boyfriend, Leonard turns to Leslie for comfort. The move angers Sheldon, who considers Leslie his comic book-style "arch enemy."

Storyline

Leonard does not want to admit that he felt awkward seeing Penny on a date with another man. Leonard states to the guys that he is happy that Penny is moving on with her life, as has he. However, they all know that there is no other woman yet in Leonard's life. Against Sheldon's sensibilities, Raj suggests to Leonard that he ask Leslie Winkle out again. Surprisingly, Leslie is open to the idea as she is no longer using sex solely as an occasional to rarely used stress reliever. Leslie suggests they pursue a traditional dating ritual with the objective of marriage and children. Because Leslie and Leonard are dating, Sheldon tries to convince Penny to hook-up with Leonard again. But if Penny doesn't comply, he may make Leonard choose between Leslie and him.

The Codpiece Topology was another good episode of "The Big Bang Theory"

With the season premiere tomorrow, I'm catching up on second season episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" to prepare. In this second episode from last season, as the guys are coming back from a fair requiring dressing up in Middle Age (as in the era of knights and fair maidens) costumes where Sheldon complains of the accuracy of certain things, Penny arrives with a date which makes Leonard jealous. When he and Sheldon are at lunch at their university, Leslie Winkle arrives and proposes to give a relationship with Leonard another try. This does not sit will with Sheldon and he tries to convince Penny to take Leonard back. Penny saying she and Leonard are just friends won't do for him. I'll stop there and just say while not as hilarious as other episodes, it was an interesting look at the hatred Sheldon and Leslie have for each other and how Leonard has to choose between them. And Howard and Raj, as always, have their moments here. I'll review another episode soon...
