Back on seasons one and two Supernatural was never afraid to scare us with the goriest scenes one can get on a TV show. With the maggots feeding off a woman's arm, to taking out the pumping heart of a man's chest while still alive, to nearly scoop out Sam's eye with a melon baller and the very very creepy Doc Benton, "Time is on my side" proves to be the scariest episode on season 3.
The heat is going up. Less than three weeks left till Dean's deal is due, The boys still have no lead on how to get him out of it. They are desperate enough to try anything and both are trying to do the same thing but in different ways.(Since "Jus in Bello" it was clear they are not a team any more, and I wonder where their relation is heading with both of them keeping secrets thinking they are protecting one another and going separate ways forgetting that their bond was their main strength)
On "Mystery spot" Sam knew how hard life could be without Dean, He is now desperate enough to try anything to keep his brother alive. But what is disturbing is that fact that he was willing to go way too far to get the job done. Sam really, you should get your head checked! buying more time by turning Dean into one of the monsters he and his brother had been protecting people from, is way out of line. How could he ever think that Dean would actually go with that? Sam you are breaking my heart boy.
I really enjoyed Rufus Turner, he can be quite interesting, An elder man, an ex hunter living in a house guarded with security cameras, acting hostile to visitors, However one can win him over by his favourite scotch, Badges on the wall and the American flag on the desk reveal that may be he was an ex cop or something but above all he seems to be pretty smart, I think there is more into this character and we will sure see him again. As for Bella on the other hand, I can't be sure whether to pity her or be glad she got what she deserved.
All in all, a very important episode you must watch it. Brace yourself lads for the seasons finale. Will Dean ever be saved?
