Acting and sound quality not good.

The actors are trying to hard to remember lines and sound like they are reading from a card. Just let it flow like you are really talking to someone but not trying to think or try too hard. Make it believable. A few actors seem scared and intimidated by the camera. The sound quality is not good. I did not finish watching because I cant bare to. I was trying to continue.

I love watching Christmas movies so when I stumbled upon this one, I was intrigued. Within 15 mins. I wanted to turn it off but couldn't. I was enjoying making fun of all the bad acting, awful dialogue, ridiculous outfits...the list goes on. Don't watch this unless your saved or love hate watching bad movies!

The low budget and acting wasn't a deterrent. It was the preachy "let Jesus fix it" brainwashed message being slimed from pulpits today. It was all about what women should be doing from a literal acceptance of the Bible. No wisdom, no understanding of scripture. While it was a nice way to pass the time, my heart goes out to women swallowing this garbage.

The best thing about the movie was the furniture.

Bad casting bad acting bad direction bad lighting bad script bad editing bad acting choices bad plot bad encore bad hair bad music and bad sound so bad a score too. Bad wardrobe choices for character and group scenes. Bad framing of shots. So bad its good.

I thought this would be a good movie. It started off with promise but after 15 minutes, I was done. I like the fact that we are seeing Christmas movies with more black casts and storylines but I'm tired of looking at movies that have a predominately black cast and it's terrible from the acting, the backgrounds, the storyline, just everything. I really wanted to like this movie but I just couldn't.

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I hung in there but it was difficult. The acting was awful, costumes over the top and stereotypes abound. Some characters are just ghetto fabulous. The storyline was meh although I get the message about trusting God with your marriage/relationships. Watch this movie when you're getting your hair braided and can't turn the channel.

It just seemed like I was watching a church play. The actors didn't sound like professionals. Nor did the script writer or the person who added that music to the background. I so wanted to like this film because I knew it would have a positive message, but the second time someone mentioned purchasing that book...I tapped out. I see what they were trying to do, but maybe they should've hired more experienced professionals. I mean this in the nicest way. Whoever is responsible for this movie can probably produce some fantastic films in the future, but this one. I couldn't get through it. I had to turn it off.

My wife started watching this: At first I thought this is horrible. But as we continued watching, I guess I got used to the variability of acting skills and the bad sound sometimes. BUT the message is what kept me watching. It was great! Reminded me of early Kendrick brothers movies. I didn't think the characters were stereotypical. As you continue watching the movie and giving it a chance, the characters who start out a certain way become more real.

I give this an 8 for the message mainly. There are some character who were colorful and funny too, I thought. Yes, some kind of stiff, but I can overlook all that as long as there is a message like this movie had.

I really enjoyed this movie and even ordered the books they mentioned. I would recommend this movie to others, and if you haven't had a chance to see the movie don't focus on these reviews, and take a moment to really check it out. It can be life changing.

Entertaining

Watched it with my wife. The movie is funny. It's got a great theme. The acting can be more experienced but for a low budget it is well done.

I saw another movie more recently that this Team made and the sound, and cinematography gets better with each picture. I'm looking forward to see what they do in 2022.

It's a feel good movie and we need more of that in the world.

Yes it's a low budget movie but I really enjoyed it! I just ordered the book mentioned in the film. It has a wonderful message & is really easy to watch! Give it a try🙂
