Good for you Abby. She believed the dog was innocent and fought to prove it every step of the way. I have spent my life volunteering at animal rescue shelters. I know how it feels to fight the system in order to save lives. It's not always easy, but certainly well worth it. On a side note, I love her car.

inconsistent Abby

In the episode Corporal Punishment, Abby is ready to hang Damon Werth for attacking Tony, Ziva and Tim but she gets more angry at Tim for shooting a dog that was attacking him. Most times Abby has empathy for everyone but in the 4th and 5th seasons she bounces all over the place between one extreme to another. It's like the writers know nothing about the characters they are writing for.
Abby is horrible in this episode

Warning: Spoilers
I am a dog lover, so I appreciate the lengths Abby to to prove the dog's innocence. However, it seems to be at the cost of McGee. She's angry at McGee because he shot a dog that attacked him. Then, she bullies him into giving her money for the dog. Then she bullies him into keeping the dog himself. She cared more about the dog then she did about her co-worker's feelings.
I hate the way the entire NCIS team treats McGee. Tony is always making fun of him.

Again With Multiple Plot Holes

The left coast mentality is very much on parade. On the right coast where I live vicious dogs like the one that attacked Tony are put down. Period. Abby's mindless knee-jerk reactions made me laugh. She is so obviously an animal loving human traitor and for this she should have been taken off the case because of her extreme prejudices.
