McGee is bitten and wounds a German shepherd dog in self defense. The team tracked down a missing suspect: petty officer Kyle Hanson, the Pax River US Navy base's drugs enforcement unit dog handler. He was killed at least 36 hours earlier by his own dog, Butch; they find cash and cocaine. Jimmy Palmer's veterinary summer job now pays off. Abby sides unconditionally with the dog she re-baptizes Jethro. Desperate to prove that the 'cute puppy' is innocent she even 'kidnaps' him to trace a flea that might incriminate another dog, but he escapes on the base and digs up another dog's corps. There is also a Panamanian drug contact, Diego Galante. Grilling Hanson's five unit colleagues seems unproductive; then petty officer Pete Bidwell is found murdered inside a cargo plain, badly staged as a loading accident. Finally the dog has an interesting health crisis. Written by KGF Vissers
