Welcome Percy

This is another one of my favorite episodes of season 1 as it marks the introduction of Percy who is also my favorite character alongside Thomas. Thomas and Percy are best friends but they don't officially interact until yhe episode Thomas' Christmas Party. I gotta say Percy is a bubbly tank engine full of enthusiasm when he leaves the workshop and that's what makes the green tank engine loveable. Now Edward is a good mentor to Percy in this episode as he teaches Percy how to shunt and do other small jobs. Now about the three big engines Gordon, Henry and James. Going on strike is one thing but treating Edward badly was exceedingly intolerable. Those big engines think they're above everyone else but they're not. Edward volunteered to arrange the passenger coaches for them and they treated him like a servant in return? That's absolutely disgraceful, especially to fellow engines. Those big engines deserved to be shut up in the sheds. Well done Percy for managing Thomas' Branchline and well done Thomas and Edward for managing the main and finally, well done Edward for being a good mentor to Percy. You big engines should be ashamed of yourselves, not for refusing to shunt but for the way you treated Edward. Anyway, I love how Thomas has a role in this episode alongside Percy. I love seeing Thomas and Percy as best friends. By the way, I think Gordon, Henry and James deserve their punishment, don't you?
