At first when I saw the title I though "no no no no who wants a film about a TV show that's too dramatic?" We'll boy was I wrong! It's a great movie with all sorts of laughs! The film is directed by a new up and comer film director Marcus Larson, who also wrote it. He also stars as the lead character "Abby Lee Siwa," supporting characters include Ethan Kolnik as "Karen" and Sawyer Larson as "Shelia." This film, much like the Television show, follows the "Abby Lee Siwa" dance academy as she yells (and eats) her way to first place. This film is a comedic Jem with many fun characters and a great plot. Sadly, like all films, it is not perfect. The camera work is poorly done and the acting is very dry. According to the bloopers there was some high tensions between cast members. Speaking of bloopers this film has many. Over seven minutes of them! This movie is a true delight and will make your day.
