Delightful comedy with heart by Chloe
lor_5 June 2020
Twenty years ago Chloe established herself as one of Adult Cinema's all-time best performers: making an endless array of great story-driven movies for the top companies yet known for her gonzo abilities (anal and deep-throat scenes).

Though she's generally forgotten today, here the VCA contract star had a chance to pull an Orson Welles (writing, producing, directing and acting) and the result is a winner.

Made without malice but a great sense of fun, "Hayseed" combines a Lil' Abner cornpone depiction of hillbilly life with a friendly send-up of Hollywood porn filmaking, with Kylie Ireland the redhead star of the show.

Kylie leaves her bucolic rural life, filled with colorful characters, to travel to Hollywood to fulfill her aspiration to become a movie star. Immediately humping away on the casting couch for agent Pat Myne, she's ready for porn filming the next day, with Kyle Stone having a great time as her director. He gets a blow-job from Nina Hartley (cute sort of playing herself, tongue in cheek) and gets the full treatment from luscious Justine Romee between takes.

Kylie has left her man Evan Stone back home under the care of pie-making relative Julie Meadows, and she has an erotic nightmare of the two of them having sex while she's away in La La Land. Chloe writes herself into the show as Swee'pea, another relative who loves to hunt critters with her rifle and also gets sexually initiated by Cousin Willy (Nikko Night).

I loved the running gags here, particularly Kylie never parting with her lucky charm watermelon (!) given to her as a parting gift by Chloe. Ireland is terrific, giving off a vibe that makes one think of Dolly Parton, who could easily have starred in a mainstream version of Chloe's script.

With tons of sex and a whole lot of heart, this is a perfect introduction to the world of Chloe.
