Not From Around Here is a hilarious web series created and produced by Shannon Dee who also stars as Eve. The writing is smart, clever, funny and the characters are so well developed and well acted that they could all be the main character of their own series.
The main character Mallory is new to planet Earth and crashes on the couch of housemates Eve and June. She soon meets the rest of the interstellar gang of characters inhabiting the area. The show brilliantly captures trying to survive as an adult, cohabitating with other people, making and trying to maintain friendships, looking for love, and finding the best uses for your identical android (we've all been there).
All of this with superb production value and nonstop laughs that make you have to watch it over again because you definitely missed some jokes the first time.
The acting is phenomenal and the hair, makeup and costumes are magical, which successfully come together to take you to this world where aliens live among us and apparently are just as neurotic, outrageous and altogether narcissistic as us Earthlings.
