Warning: Spoilers
This episode shows the Tulsa Homicide Unit tracking down the suspect in a crime spree that ranges from robbery to rape and ending in murder. The murder victim, Shane Anderson, was a small school district's middle school teacher and the perpetrator, Deonte Green, was a 16 year old boy who had been in the criminal court system several times over many years. The homicide unit does what they do best and tracked this suspect down in a few hours and I can tell you as a citizen of Northeast Oklahoma and someone who regularly drives into Tulsa I am extremely thankful for their competent hands. This boy went to court with a plea deal, took the deal, and then after sentencing claimed he didn't know what his deal meant, not once but twice. Then you had his "parents" getting on the news literally blaming Mr. Anderson for protecting his family and saying that's the reason he died. Couldn't possibly be that their kid took a gun to the home of a family that he was planning to, at a minimum rob, and based on him robbing the elderly lady 2 houses down I would guess he was actually going to try that again since he forced Mr. Anderson's wife and 2 young daughters backed into the house and down the hall. This department is the best in the country with their solve rate and I am proud to say that. Unfortunately we are in a society where we have even have to have a unit dedicated to homicide but if we have to have it I want these guys any day. They also solved my cousin's murder so Hell Yeah! They Rock!!!!
