As porn ripoffs (they call them parodies) go, this is lower percentile, with A & E's resident hack director Daniel Dakota offering little creativity or professionalism. The cast goes through the motions of making a vampire movie, but it might as well have been all-sex content.
Ava Rose, A & E's least interesting contract star, plays the vamp and merely looks pretty in the role. As the male lead Evan Stone sweats a lot trying to whip up comedy that fails to materialize. As his roommate Van Damage is similarly unimpressive, and the porn in-joke (to confuse the uninitiated) has Evan's character named Van.
The wonderful Brit Porn star Carmel Moore has one nice scene, lending her lilting accent to the show, but therwise nothing interesting happens. Another contract star, Bree Olsen, is thrown into the mix with little impact in a minor sex role.
