this one is so bad it is beyond awful.

i can see how a couple of stoners can come up with the idea for this waste of bits and maybe in the right hands something funny could have been made out of the basic premise.

the acting. oh my god! it's a long long time ago i have seen acting so very very bad as in this one. it's got to be seen to be believed.

that someone even spent a single dime on this...

you see, i can enjoy bad movies. i really can. but not this one. do not waste a second of your life on this.

trust me.

I have seen some low budget movies and some are quite good but unfortunately this is not one of them. Whilst the principle is good the woeful acting lets it down. It is a poor attempt at what I think was supposed to be a stoner movie and it fails at every turn The lead character when from mildly amusing to so irritating I wanted to pull out his finger nails. His partner adds nothing to the mix and the characterisations are hardly believable. The remainder of the cast are stereotypical to the verge of being offensive and nothing about the whole package works If you are looking for something that is cringe worthy bad then this may be for you but a classic it will never be. I feel like I have wasted a portion of my life watching this when i could be doing so much more

This is a story about two pothead slackers. They have an idea of becoming hit men and train for that purpose. I know this is supposed to be a comedy, but I don't think I laughed once during the painful 1h 25m runtime. The dialogue in this film is below bad. There are films like Dumb And Dumber where the retarded interaction between characters is done in good taste, but that is not the case here, it's simply horrible. As well as the "acting" which is even worse than the dialogue. I think there's about two minutes film here worth some value to a selected audience. And that audience is teenage boys getting kicks from seeing tits. And even those scenes are squeezed in the film with such a way it makes you want to cry rather than enjoy. So to conclude my review I'll just say that this film is in the top three of the worst movies I've ever seen and not in a good "camp film" kind of way.

This movie about 2 friends who decide to become hit men takes all the wrong turns. Not only is the acting horrible and the dialog timings all wrong, but it just isn't funny. I've seen movies made by high school students that were much better than this piece of crap.

The story is full of loose ends and is just boring. The film never comes close to being funny and some clever joke rip offs should make up for it, but the makers don't even pull those jokes off. Also the characters seem like they aren't normal people, but just a bunch of retards (literally). The two main characters keep fighting and making up. The Chinese guy is fun at times, but doesn't say much. The Italian guy keeps wining and there is even a scene where he goes of a baby-slide. And so on... The only well cast character is the gang leader who eventually hires them; too bad he only had like 5 sentences...

Anyway my point is: "DO NOT GET THIS MOVIE FROM A VIDEO STORE" ever! It's a wast of time unless you WANT to go asleep!

Even with a budget this movie would be bad

2 Hit men poor attempt at making a comedy. The first rule about a comedy movie is should be funny. 2 Hit men misses the boat. It is a thrown together movie lacking in every possible way. Two dufus type guys decide they will become killers for hire. They train going through every predictable snafu possible to get a laugh from viewers. I kept thinking WTF is this movie? I felt ripped off of my time. There is 1% of movies that give viewers nothing. This is one of those 1%. The acting was not bad. It was the story that stunk.

There is a much better comedy out there that was made back in 1998 called Jerry and Tom. It stars Joe Mantegna and Sam Rockwell.

A VERY good low budget comedy

I've seen a number of low budget films (Napoleon Dynamite, Bottle Rocket, Clerks, etc...) and I believe this film, '2 Hit men', is a very funny original film. First off, I watched the movie with low expectations being that it was a straight to DVD release. I found myself surprised at how well the film looked and how strong the music was.

Also, when I think of a low budget film, it normally doesn't involve many characters. This film had some hilarious guys in it (a desert rat, an old Asian guy, an Italian with questionable sexual preference, and a mentally challenged Mexican guy). Aside from the two main characters, this is a lot of 'character' actors moving around the story. And they did it very effectively.

I don't want to give too much away, but the story is relatively simple yet quietly smart. 2 guys want to find more excitement in their life but are continually trying to avoid responsibility and growing up. This leads them to train to be like their heroes from classic films like 'The Professional' and 'Pulp Fiction'. Their training scenes are pretty funny, but there are numerous moments that got me laughing out loud.

Also, I liked how they dropped in a few hot chicks without this being all about nudity. I hate the National Lampoon films that are basically soft-core porn, but they dropped in some hotties without really going to extremes. It was a solid display.

Finally, I will say this about '2 Hit men'...if you want to watch a fun small film and laugh, this is your movie. The movie won't blow you away and you won't find the answers to life in it, but you'll have a good time. I was very impressed with this little comedy and strongly recommend it!

Okay, this movie is really funny! I watched it with a few friends and we totally laughed. The guys in this movie are funny. This is a low budget comedy and you can tell at times, but the old Asian guy and the Italian guy had us rolling! The story begins with these two potheads deciding to become hit men. The premise itself was cute. The guys aren't going anywhere fast and they do silly things together. They both love to smoke pot, play video games, stare at as many hot skirts as possible, and often dream of seeing breasts. On the surface, that seems like it would make these characters typical and fluff. But actually, they do much more. They show how people go through tough decisions and early-mid-life crises. Not only do they struggle with tough life choices, but they end up doing things on their own terms which I respected greatly and totally related to.

I won't give anything away, but the movie is shot well, the lighting is excellent, and most of the actors do a great job. I thought the girls were a little weak at times, but I like the main guys in the film. They were definitely CHARACTERS in their own right and pulled it off well.

The story, as I've said earlier, isn't tough to figure, but I think can really strike a chord with high school and college students. I liked the film and I liked the fact that it wasn't just a silly comedy, but actually showed some heart. This was a fun, enjoyable film to watch and I strongly recommend it. I hope you enjoy 2 Hit men as much as I did!
