It's a little gem. Full of heart. It takes you into the life of Ezra Nawi. A complex gay man who tries to fight racism and homophobia in a country which is preoccupied with war and self preservation. Ezra is a great character and easy to fall in love with. Sometimes it feel like the whole world is against him even his mother. The best way to describe the film is "if you want to change the world, change yourself. It is sad that very few people will get to see this film. It really has a lot to offer the to the world of docs. This is the second film I have seen by the director Nissim Mossek the first one was shalom abu bassen which is also a wonderful film about a street in east Jerusalem where both Israeli's and Arabs live side by side. Mr. Mossek filmed that movie over a period of 12 years.
