The Barrett and AJ rivalry will be interesting, but I feel the show really dropped the ball here. After the dramatic start with the cop needing to keep a patient alive, they just never capitalized on that excitement. It got back to the show's generic medical drama pacing. This could have been a special episode, but it never panned out.
