  Narrator : One of the most dangerous and serious of criminal offenses against society is the illicit traffic of narcotics. Law enforcement agencies wage a constant and relentless fight against the people involved in its distribution and use. And the violators of the narcotic laws consistently devise new methods to avoid detection and continue their illegal trade. In April of last year, Dan Mathews, head of the Highway Patrol, arrived at Aspen Lake Lodge for a long-awaited vacation, only to find himself involved in a large-scale narcotics operation.
