Interesting documentary on prolific movie-poster artist

Reynold Brown, the artist behind the posters for 'Ben Hur' (1959) and 'Spartacus' (1960) also designed posters for numerous classic 1950s sci-fi and horror films (as well as book covers and magazine illustrations) before leaving the 'entertainment industry' to focus on painting. This documentary provides a brief personal history of the talented illustrator and a glimpse of his profession's place in the highly competitive and commercial world of film marketing. Context is provided though a series of interviews about the artist, his work, and his times including comments by legendary B-movie auteurs Samuel Z. Arkoff, (one of the founders of A.I.P.) and director Roger Corman. While of passing interest to fans of vintage sci-fi film (which is what brought me to it), the documentary is about the artist, not his role in the genre, so viewers hoping for detailed discussions of some of his iconic (or otherwise) posters such as 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' (1954), 'I Was a Teenage Werewolf' (1957), 'Attack of the 50 Foot Woman' (1958), 'The Time Machine' (1960), or 'Godzilla vs. The Thing' (1964) may be disappointed.
