What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
boblipton14 March 2021
James Parrott is the projectionist at a movie house his boss is trying to sell to a couple of unsuspecting buyers. Naturally they show up to count the house - which the boss has hired people to pack - and of course everything goes wrong.

It's one of the frustratingly rare Fox comedy shorts of the silent era. These were among the most lavishly produced of silent comedy lines, and enormously popular, both for their enormous casts of well known comics, and the elaborate and expensive mechanical gags. Alas, most of them are lost due to a fire in 1937, and most of what survives is in poor shape. Happily, this one is off a 35mm print with only minor damage, and a rare opportunity to see one of their works.
