Powerful Documentary- great film!
jimmyg-7882416 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary is about Chris Martin. This story was inspiring and powerful. Chris had a troubled childhood and I was saddened to see anyone grow up in such circumstances. Regardless, Chris had people come into his life that were there to help and mentor him. Regardless of their efforts, the justice system failed Chris. Chris was incarcerated for excessive periods of time for what in my opinion were minor offenses.

My hope is this story encourages people to get involved in their community and care what they are doing in the voting booth. The system is broken and I think Chris' story is shining a light that change is needed. A change that is real and effective!

Prison has and still is a business. Prison needs to be a place to have individuals serve their time but also a place that prepares them to effectively re-enter the work force and their community. Prayers to Chris and his family! Great story! I wish this guy nothing but well wishes.

With all that said, the film was shot, filmed and edited very well. Powerful!

A Thought Provoking Look at Pioneers In CBD and Edible Industry
aidenkp25 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
A nicely shot ordeal about the struggles of being Pioneers to the health industry benefits of CBD and medical marijuana. With today's advances, acceptance and accessibility of CBD products, this film takes an in depth look at not only a man but his families struggle to enter the industry legitimately only to be treated like criminals because of out dated gray areas in laws. Cinematically the movie has wonderful camera work, a well paced and smooth story line while pulling you into the hardships, emotional trials, unjust prejudice but ultimately uplifting outcome for this beautiful families triumph and success over the ordeal. Definitely put this one on your watchlist or better yet just go ahead and click play. *Side note I was so compelled by the story I did further research and it appears they have a podcast as well bearing the same name that is also rewarding to listen to.

A guy sold drugs, went to jail and tells people he is famous.

The story is basically about a guy Chris Martin, who was trying to beat the system and be a sneaky drug dealer using peoples sickness as a cover. He does seem to invoke some passionate moments talking about his friends and family... but many people care about their family he just happened to be in the position that placed everyone at risk. He completely trashes law enforcement and the legal system when he was the one breaking the law. This got a bit aggravating.

The cinematic quality was very good and the filming style prevented it from getting less then 5 stars. Other then that it was just a simple story about a guy with a beard trying to always beat the system in which he does a mediocre job at; since he gets caught constantly. The main character seems to have a strange belief he is now famous from being the special one in million that gets sent to prison for dealing drugs. The title #hatersmakemakefamous a popular terms among high school children is what the character Chris Martin seems to have set the basis of how he lives his life.

If you want to see into the life of a basic drug dealer then I would encourage you to see this documentary. If anything can come from this documentary I hope it is awareness of the broken system surrounding Marijuana. This amazing plant really does help people.
