Misa is hugged by Light and says he has to pretend to go out with other girls. Misa doesn't want him to. Light does some research and finds out she is a model.
At the university a girl sits next to him saying he doesn't look happy at all that they are dating. He lies saying he is just thinking of what others would think and how beautiful she is.
L seems to finally believe that Light is not Kira and admits that Light is his first friend. This shocks Light.

This episode shows how ultra submissive Misa is to Light/Kira and would be willing to do anything to make him happy. And my suspicion that Misa's Shinigami was in love with her came true, a real shot. Poor L for saying that Light is the only friend he had, it's sad, but we have to see if this isn't another test to see if Light is Kira. Misa really wanting Light to love her is shameful but there's no way to blame her. And it's surreal how Light manipulates all the girls around him. The investigator even says: "another girlfriend?" Oh and Misa being jealous and saying she was going to kill the girl Light dated and Ryuk saying: "terrifying" was wonderful. Episode fourteen watched on March 5, 2024.
