The copper in Mr Spooner comes out, when he suspects that the staff are on the fiddle, he's convinced that they are stealing the teabags and the cornflakes, he orders that stocks are kept in his office.
I don't quite know how to put this into words, it's not particularly funny, but in a bizarre way, I'm quite enjoying it, maybe it's the cast, maybe it's just the era, as with the first episode, it just wasn't bad, again, not a riot, but just not bad.
I did chuckle over a few scenes, the fight with the cornflakes was pretty amusing.
I can't exactly explain why, but it just doesn't feel like the work of Jimmy Perry, it just doesn't fit in with the rest of his comedy shows, somehow the jokes just don't seem to land particularly well.
It's not too bad.
6/10.
