Serpico Favorite Moments (2002)

** 1/2 (out of 4)

The third and final featurette on SERPICO is pretty useless but does contain some mild entertainment. Director Sidney Lumet and producer Martin Bregman talk about what their favorite scenes are in the movie. The producer goes with the ending and gives his reasons why Lumet goes for two different ones. One is when Pacino's character is dressed as a rabbi and the other is when his character has a meeting under the Hell Gate Bridge. At just under 5-minutes I'm still a little curious why this was turned into its own featurette instead of just being added to one of the previous two. With that said, it's mildly entertaining hearing what these two thing were the best moments of the film and at least Lumet goes into some detail on why he selected his scenes. Again, nothing ground-breaking but it's worth viewing if you're a fan of the movie.
