I found this episode very well done, if not cheesy. The Musical gave me the idea that maybe it was done for the release of "High School Musical 2". The character Nole seemed to like Casey and the excitement that maybe Casey would break up with her boyfriend lets you wonder what will happen in the episodes to come. Casey has a passion for Musicals and when she auditioned and made the lead it was no surprise, although when she saw Derek's name she wasn't as surprised as usual. Even though this episode may have been a little soft (especially when it came to the fights between Casey and Derek) overall it's one of the good ones and if you had to choose a favorite it might not be this one.
