Fascinating Captain
mm-3914 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Fascinating captain as Spock once said: Life After Death is a fascinating episode. There is scientists defining what is death. The revitalization of mice. There are interviews of people who experience life after death seeing dead relatives, tunnels and people jump out of their bodies. There is scientist who are skeptical and people who believe in an after life. One man is helping a sick child is a very moving. Well crafted and edited. A memorable episode. 7 out of 10 stars.

Real-Life Accounts Of Survival
AaronCapenBanner23 September 2014
Heartfelt episode takes up the provocative(to some) phenomena of life after death experiences, and how survivors claim to have seen a tunnel, or have hovered over their bodies, either in a dangerous situation, or during surgery. These experiences fundamentally changed their lives, and how they continued to live them after coming so close to death for various reasons. Most memorable is the account of a bearded man named Shelley, a former atheist who literally saw the light after nearly dying, and how he befriends a young boy undergoing chemotherapy treatment, and encourages him to fight on living. How he relates to his plight is truly touching, and episode really shines as a result.

In Search Of... "Life After Death" (1977)

The title pretty much tells you everything you need to know about this episode in the series, which once again is a good one. We learn about how doctors are getting better at bringing people back to life once their heart stops and this leads to the discussion of what happens during that time when someone is technically dead. We then get to hear from a couple people who claim to have had their spirits leave their bodies. The interviews are quite interesting to say the least and there's no question that this is a fascinating subject. If you're a fan of the series then this is a pretty good episode but one does wish that someone who doesn't believe in this type of thing had been interviewed to just give a different perspective on the matter.
